Casa Batlló: which visit to choose
Casa Batlló is Gaudí's house on Passeig de Gràcia. It is open every day and is part of Gaudí's UNESCO listing since 2005. A normal visit takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
The rooms, the dragon roof and the night visits are covered in detail in our separate Casa Batlló guide.
The hard part is not getting in but choosing the right ticket. The house sells several visit types, and each comes in four tiers. The prices below are online "from" prices. At the box office the same visit costs €4 to €15 more, so book online.
Visit types and from-prices
Prices are the lowest online price per adult. The tier you pick (see below) can raise them.
| Visit type | From price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| General visit | From €29 | Daily, first entry 9:00 |
| Night visit | From €25 | Bookable until 15 November, entry 20:30 to 21:30, without the roof |
| Magical Nights | From €59 | Visit plus a concert |
| Be the First | €45 | Fixed price |
| Visit plus exhibition | From €37 | Includes the exhibition |
Disabled visitors get €6 off, and students with ID pay less. We could not verify the student amount.

Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum
The tier decides how much of the house you see. We could not verify the price of each tier.
Blue
The base tier. It does not include the roof.
Silver
Everything in Blue, plus access to the roof.
Gold
Adds an augmented-reality tablet, the porter's room and the flat of the Batlló family.
Platinum
The top tier. It has the same extras as Gold and is the one with free cancellation.
If the roof matters to you, do not buy Blue. The night visit also has no roof access.
Which visit suits you
A short guide by situation.
First visit, daytime
Take the general visit from €29 and choose a tier with the roof. It is the standard way to see the house and takes about an hour.
Evening and on a budget
The night visit starts at €25, but it is only bookable until 15 November and has no roof. Entry is between 20:30 and 21:30.
Music in the house
Magical Nights combines the visit with a concert and starts at €59. Check the dates before you plan your trip.
Travelling with children
Children from 0 to 12 years enter free, so only the adults need tickets. Pick a tier with the roof if you want to see it.
Whatever you pick, buy online. The box office charges €4 to €15 more for the same visit, and time slots are limited.
Times, entry and cancellation
The rules that matter on the day.
Opening hours
The house is open daily. The first entry is at 9:00. There is a last entry in the evening, but official sources give two different times, so check the time on your ticket.
Arriving late
You can enter up to 15 minutes after the start of your slot. Be there on time all the same.
Cancellation
Free cancellation exists only on Platinum and Gold tickets, depending on the visit type. Other tickets cannot be cancelled, so be sure of your date.
Luggage
There are no lockers at Casa Batlló. Leave bags and suitcases at your hotel.
Combine Casa Batlló with other Gaudí sites
The two houses on Passeig de Gràcia suit one half day. The park and the basilica need their own slots.
