Guided tours of the Sagrada Família in 2026

You can visit the basilica with a guide in two ways. One is the official guided visit, which you buy as part of the basilica ticket. The other is a tour from another company, which is a separate product with its own price, group and meeting point.

The official guided visit costs €30 for adults in 2026 and lasts about 50 minutes, in several languages depending on the slot. With a tower it costs €40. The entry fee is already in that price. You do not buy a second ticket.

The official guided visit

The guide is part of the foundation's own ticket. It is the simplest way to combine entry and a guide.

  • Price 2026: €30 adult, €23 senior, €28 under 30 and students, €4 for a companion of a visitor with a disability.
  • Length: about 50 minutes, in several languages depending on the time slot.
  • What it does not include: the museum and the liturgical path. The museum is part of the standard ticket, but the guided visit does not take you through it.
  • Booking: online only, for a fixed date and time, with the same rules as other tickets. See the tickets page for changes, ID and refunds.

The audio guide in the official app is included in every ticket, in 19 languages. If you are happy with an audio guide, the €26 basilica ticket is cheaper. If you want a person who answers questions, the €30 guided visit is the baseline against which every other tour should be measured.

Tours by other companies

Many companies sell Sagrada Família tours. They cost more than the official guided visit. In return you may get a longer tour, a smaller group, a tower ticket or a combination with another site. Some include the tower and some do not, and the meeting point is often outside the basilica, not at the entrance.

These tours are not official. The foundation allows authorised sales partners, but it gives no guarantee for tickets that were not bought through its own portal. Changes and refunds then follow the company's own terms. Groups of 10 or more people can only enter with registration and an accredited guide, not with single tickets.

The light matters more than you might expect. According to the foundation's blog, the stained glass colours are strongest around the solstices: summer mornings on the Nativity side and winter evenings on the Passion side. Read more on the page about the best time to visit.

How to read what is included

Four questions that decide whether a tour is good value.

Is the entry ticket in the price?

Some listings sell only the guide, and you buy the entry separately. Look for the word entry or admission in the inclusions.

Is a tower included?

The tower is a separate product at the official shop, with €36 for the basilica with tower. Do not assume that a tour includes it.

Where do you meet?

Many tours start outside the basilica. Check the address, and arrive early because late arrivals are not let in at the entrance.

What do the terms say?

Changes and refunds follow the company, not the foundation. Read the cancellation terms before you pay.
